MOMENTS IN NATURE...

This is where the magic begins — a small glimpse into the countless moments I’ve captured on my adventures. Each photograph holds a story, a spark of inspiration, or a memory that continues to shape my art and my heart.

Every photo you see here is available as a print, ready to bring a touch of the wild into your space.

Keep visiting this page as I continuously add stories here.

Longs Peak and Mount Meeker

04april cover.jpg

This is the photograph that inspired "All My Trails Lead to Longs". I have looked upon the face of this mountain many times, from many angles, and this day was truly one of my favorites! I even packed in a sushi roll and enjoyed it over this view.

If You Wish Upon a Bristle Cone

11 november cover.jpg

One of my favorite trees in Rocky Mountain National Park! Whenever I pass by I make sure to say hello and take a picture. It is beautiful any time of day but this night was special.

On a Purple Afternoon

IMG_8323-EDIT.jpg

These columbine flowers are the most perfect ones I've ever seen. I often reference this photo for the flowers that show up in my paintings. I could have sat and talked with these flowers all afternoon.

Winter Alpine Bliss

IMG_9224-EDIT.jpg

Winter hiking may not be for everyone, but this is the entire reason why I go. The colorful alpine glow only lasts 10-15 minutes and you have to hike in the middle of the night to see it, but I am completely addicted. You cant see it in this photograph but I am squealing with joy.

The Frozen Keyboard

IMG_0286-EDIT.jpg

When I took this photo, it was -22 degrees fahrenheit and the wind was ripping over the peaks. The feature in this photo is called The Keyboard of the Winds, and it truly lived up to its name this day.

Falling Down the Rabbit Hole

IMG_1901_Original.jpeg

This hidden gem is in a place that if I told people I was taking a vacation there, they only ever asked "why....?". Which is exactly why it is a magical place. Few crowds, wildlife, pristine nature and top notch camping. If you are so lucky to find this place, make sure to take care of it.

Small Friends

IMG_4098-EDIT.jpg

If you sit quietly for long enough, often tiny friends around us will start presenting themselves. Going about their daily lives, in beautiful places, with not a care in the world. Moments like this make time slow down for a little bit while I enjoy the simple things in life.

Icy Waters

IMG_1479_Original.jpeg

I read that there was a permanent glacier at this lake, and I said "Lets go swimming!!!". The hike was beautiful and in the peak of summer, I was ready to hop in when we arrived. I then discovered this was absolutely the coldest lake I have ever swam in!
