WELCOME TO RUNNIN' WILD
My name is Karli Blackwood, and I am a wanderer of wild places, originally from the rolling plains of Kansas. Growing up, my family often journeyed west to Colorado — each trip leaving its imprint on my heart. It was impossible not to fall in love with the mountains, the crisp air, and the way the sunlight danced across the peaks. By the time I reached middle school, I already knew where my soul belonged.
In 2015, I finally followed that calling and made Colorado my home. Taking that leap changed everything — it reshaped my world in ways both humbling and extraordinary. Now over a decade later, this place is no longer just where I live; it’s a part of who I am. The wild has etched itself into my spirit.
I’ve wandered countless miles of trails — here in Colorado, across the country and around the globe — chasing the quiet magic of nature. The colors of dawn, the rhythm of wind through pines, the untamed beauty of wildlife — all of it seeps into my creative work. Through my art, I try to share even a small reflection of the wonder and gratitude these places have given me.
It’s my hope that my creations awaken something familiar in you — a remembrance of our connection to this magnificent world we call home. 🌎
